You should consider a small private office versus big corporation office.
The first thing you should do is look at the Google reviews:
- How many reviews do they have?
- How high are the reviews?
- Read the reviews to get a feeling of how patients think about that doctor
- Go to their website
- Review their education
- Review their experience
- Review what kind of dental work they deliver
From that, you can have a good idea of the doctor's reputation. Usually, you want somebody with a lot of experience, a good education, and who has been seeing patients for a very long time.
What should I do before scheduling an appointment?
Call that office and get to know them, see their philosophy, and their culture for treating a patient. If you comfortable with them, then go ahead and schedule the appointment.
